HP Recommended

Good day -

Last night (3/1/2017) my Elite x3 downloaded a new version of the HP Device Hub v1.9.2.0.  The Windows Store indicates there are two changes:

  • HP Lap Dock firmware upgrade UX update
  • HP Barcode Scanner firmware upgrade support

When I launch HP Device Hub after connecting the Lap Dock, a new firmware is available, T0059.  Fixes:

  • Fix periodic connection loss
  • Fix momentary black screen after connection
  • Improve system start readiness
  • Fix occasional snowy screen after wireless connection

While I've experienced all of those issues, i wished they addressed the weird "mouse goes to bottom left corner when tapping left mouse click button area" problem.  That's definitely not unique to the Elite x3, as it happens on my Lumia 950XL as well with the lap dock.

Prior to installing this firmware, but after connecting to the Lap Dock, did anyone experience their Elite x3 vibrating once every 3 seconds?  Disconnecting the lap dock stopped the vibration pattern.  Rebooting the Elite didn't make a difference.  That was something new I hadn't seen before.  After upgrading, the vibrating stopped.

Thanks!
