So I'm trying to connect my mackie soundboard to my HP envy laptop... I've been trying for a long time and I'm pretty sure my headphone jack is screwed up because it only reads my soundboard If the aux jack is in about half way... so I ordered an aux to USB cable and it still is not working... is there a driver I need to install in order for my Envy to read it? Or if not, do you have any other suggestions?

Thanks
