Question - Can I post a question along with a solution for others to see? (After confirming that such a pair isnt present on the forum)
Eg - I was searching for a solution to my "simplepass not asking for fingerprint". I found many posts regarding it telling me to update drivers, restart comp , etc. however none of that worked for me (but those had worked for other users). But i then i found a similar problem which was "the fingerprint reader not working; Code 43 error" and then found out that both were the same and the solution posted in the latter worked as a charm for the earlier. So if I did post the first question along with second answer it would help people a lot.
Suggestion - Can't there be a feature in the forum which prevents newly signed users to post within like 24 hrs of sign up. I think this is a great feature and helps keep out many silly posts by users who dont want to read the forums and just post their question.

I can answer your question- yes, by all means post a question and answer it with the solution that worked for you. You can even mark the solution as Accepted Solution with the button at bottom of the post to alert others of a possible working solution.
The suggestion...don't think HP will go for that one.![]()
