HP Recommended

It would be useful for purchasers of HP Store items to be able to see updates about material delays in particular product lines. For example, if a particular vendor had a force majeure that resulted in HP having to delay shipments of particular models. It would allow purchasers to make sense of an estimated shipment date slipping seven weeks (and doing so on the very day of the original estimated ship date), which is what just happened to me on a Spectre x360 - 13t-ac000 CTO. I realize things happen, but it's nice to know the reason(s). I was just advised by HP Store of the new estimated ship date via an e-mail that was based on a holidays-are-busy template (!). Last time I checked, Christmas was about two months ago.

Nice to have good quality communication after making payment on a purchase, about factors that affect specific product families, e.g., "display vendor experienced supply chain disruption".
