Envy 700-325d
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

So i looked around the forum and i couldn't seem to find any thread about 700-325d. So is it possible for me to upgrade my current card which in GTX 745 to GTX1060 6GB. Just asking this so my 250$ will not go to waste. Appreciated it if you answer, thanks.

Hello

 

You have three of four items needed to run GTX 1060.

 

EFI BIOS

400 watt or greater power supply

PCIe x16 3.0 slot for card

 

Length of card must be verified to fit in your tower and you need 8 pin PCIe supplement power connection from power supply.

 

Then you should go to BIOS before card install and disable Secure Boot and enable Legacy Boot.

 

Also remove current graphics driver before install new graphics card.
