I want to add a new graphic card to my HP Elitebook 8760w

Product Name: HP Elitebook 8760w
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I have an  Elitebook 8760w  which is not one of the latest laptopts, but still it  has a lot of power.  My only problem is that the graphic card is too weak (nvidia quadro 3000M). Is it possible to add a NVIDIA GTX 1080 SLI for example?

Re: I want to add a new graphic card to my HP Elitebook 8760w

Yes and no.

Yes, the GPU can be upgraded to the following:

AMD FirePro M5950 XT-GL 1GB GDDR5 (DP 1.2 and Eyefinity Plus support) 647176-001

NVIDIA Quadro 3000M, N12E-Q1 2 GB dedicated GDDR5 video memory 647177-001

NVIDIA Quadro 4000M, N12E-Q3 2 GB dedicated GDDR5 video memory 647178-001

NVIDIA Quadro 5010M, N12E-Q5 4 GB dedicated GDDR5 video memory 647179-001

But the upgrade process can be tricky. See Page 72 of the service manual.

No, it cannot be upgraded to a 1080.
