HP 6000 Pro All In One
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hello. I have been upgrading my 6000 pro aio and I am to the point where I am wondering about the compatability of parts that are not in the hardware specifications list, for example, my device uses a socket 775 45nm cpu, there are a list of compatibles but then there are parts such as the one in this listing http://www.ebay.com/itm/Intel-Pentium-4560J-3-6GHz-LGA-775-Socket-T-800MHz-SL7Q2-/361899620690?hash=... that are also socket 775 but are not in my compatability list, the answer is usually 'no they aren't compatable' at times like these but I can't help but ask. Same for the video card, it's an mxm, I have the one that will fit but again I can't help but wonder if an mxm card that is not in my compatabilty list such as this one http://www.ebay.com/itm/Nvidia-Quadro-K1000M-2GB-MXM-Mobile-Video-Card-N14P-Q1-A2-/282355563362 will work.

@ogeeskeemask, welcome back to the forum.

The best answer to your questions is, if a component is not on the compatible list it has not been tested to assure that it works.  HP spends a lot of time to test components for compatibility.  There is no guaranty that either of the components in your links will work.
