Good day,

I have purchased a week ago my HP Omen with the warranty of 2 years. When I first launched HP Support Assistant, in the wrranty option it claims I have only one year of warranty left. How do I reclaim this?

I reviewed your post and I understand that the warranty information you are getting in HP support assistant is incorrect.

 

Don’t worry, I’d love to help!

 

I would like to inform you that all HP computers come with a 1-year standard warranty. The 2nd year warranty might be from the store from where you have purchased the computer. I recommend you to check with the store once.

 

If you have purchased the computer online from HP website or directly from HP and you were informed that the computer comes with 2 years warranty then, I recommend you to contact phone support to get the warranty information updated.

 

Follow below steps to contact phone support.

 

Step 1. Open link:  www.hp.com/contacthp/

Step 2. Enter Product number or select to auto detect

Step 3. Scroll down to "Still need help? Complete the form to select your contact options"

Step 4. Scroll down and click on HP contact options - click on Get phone number

I have warranty extened by to years  from 12/07/17 2years 2019 my first warranty expires in 29 days  does the 2 years warrany begin july 3 

Still waiting for a answer from hp
