Hi James_owens65,

I understand that you're trying to setup proxy settings on your printer.  I have a couple of questions for you.

Are you trying to setup ePrint?

Do you get an error message when you try to enable web services?

My electricity was off for 6 hours day before yesterday.  I've managed to get both laptops and desktop to be able to print but none of my eprints are working.  I've reset router, and printer several times.  I've tried typing my IP address into the address bar and all I get is sites that want me to download programs.  It does not take me to where your comments above says it will.

I believe I have figured out  my proxy but cannot figure out my port.  How many numbers are in a port and where else could I find that information?????

Mine is the HP Officejet Pro 8600

IP:  Not applicable  is what it says on my HP officejet pro 8600 plus printer.  Therefore,  I can't input an IP address so how do i get my printer IP address?
