check your wireless settings for your router. On the Airport Extreme, if your wireless settings are set to "WPA2 Personal" the connection will not hold, if you change to "WPA/WPA2 Personal" it will now communicate

If your router has two frequencies 2.4 or 5g and your printer is on 2.4g frequency and your apple devices are on 5g frequency then they will not pick up AirPrint. Go into general and select wifi and see if you see your router with the 2.4 g in the list of available connections, select 2.4,give it a few seconds or so and you should see your printer. This was my problem when I installed a new router that offers both frequencies. I am able to switch back and forth with no problems. Hope this helps.

@gellis03: If it was appropriate to kiss you on the mouth, I'd do it.

I don't know how you know this, but problem fixed.  Changed from "WPA2 Personal" to "WPA/WPA2 Personal"
