Today 12/9/13 I received a replacement printer for HP, I have just completed the install to my computer. The apps are working on this unit. Please check the serial number on your unit......this one starts with CN the one that did not work started with TH. One is made in China and the other is made in Thailand. The Thailand one did not work for the on screen apps or the web server.
If you have one that was made in Thailand I would suggest you contact HP for a replacement of one made in China

Was supposed to get a call back at 6:00 PM PST today. Still waiting for the call. . .
My first experience with HP and it is not good. Thinking of just returning this printer and not deal with all the stress.

Just finished talking to HP Cloud Support. States that they have issues with both China made and Thailand made units.
They are aware of the issues and complaints lodged on the support forums and their engineers are working on a permanent solution. Should get an update by Thrusday hopefully.

I hope they follow through as they told me the same thing about 2 weeks ago. I'd request a replacement.
Just curious.......What are the first two letters of your serial number?
Not sure it's really a firmware issue as the printer I received today that is made in China is the same firmware as the one made in Thailand. So it has to be something else I would assume.
