I just connected my printer with instant ink. My black ink cartridge, which came installed, is low. Will instant ink detect this and send me a new cartridge?

Hi,
When your black cartridge (non instant ink) is depleated, insert your instant ink black cartridge which should have been sent to you within 10 days of setting up your instant ink account.
The instant ink program will then track the usage of the instant ink black and ensure that you don't run out.
I've included some common FAQ's on Instant ink below that may be helpful.

Hi,
As soon as any other instant ink cartridges start to run low, you will be sent replacements in the post. The cartridges contain a chip that allows them to be monitored.

Hi,
You should have new ink before your current one runs out. You can xheck your account dashboard to see your usage and whether new ink has been posted - you can also track the shipments there. I've included a link below on Instant ink account management that will guide you through the account page.
