3COM 3C888 US OfficeConnect Dual 56K LAN Modem Router

           I have a 3COM 3C888 US OfficeConnect Dual 56K LAN Modem Router and it has a built in upgrade web page. When i go into the advance settings to check for upgrades it just freezes up. I wood like to get this modem up and running at its  top point. I live in the country and this is the best way for online gaming. I bought two external USB modem (For dual Bundling, or Shotgun) and my old 3COM 3C888 US OfficeConnect Dual 56K LAN Modem Router seems to work better at this kind of connection.
