Adding Bluetooth Capability?

Can I add a Bluetooth Module to my Pavillion G7-1312NR laptop running on an AMD processor?  I'm looking for an internal one, not one that takes up a USB port.

Hi:

Because your PC has an AMD processor, you cannot add a separate bluetooth module.

 

Your only option would be to replace your current wireless card with a supported wireless/bluetooth combo card listed in the service manual in Chapter 3, pages 26 & 27.

 

You can only purchase one of the wireless cards listed in the manual, and it must have the HP part number on it, or it will not work.

 

Please pay particular attention to the fact that some cards only work with AMD or Intel based processors as noted in the manual.
