I have a hp pavillion dv7 6103ea (http://h40059.www4.hp.com/uk/giftideas/beatslaptops/product.php?id=LS692EA&experience=direct) My problem is that most games require 2ghz processor or faster mine is clocked and 1.6 and i dont want to overclock at risks of voiding the warranty or overheading so can i send it away for an upgrade? also when i check my temp monitor it doesnt show that my descrete graphics is running but nvm that.. can i upgrade?

The AMD A6-3410MX (Codename Llano) is a fast quad-core processor for entry level laptops. It is part of the Fusion family of APUs (=Accelerated Processing Units) and features an integrated Radeon HD 6520G graphics card. The processor core is clocked at 1.6 GHz base clock speed and is able to easily and automatically overclock up to 2.3 GHz (TurboCore, depending on temperature and used cores.

This is a fast processor. And, No!, you cannot upgrade this already supreme and fast cpu without shedding blood, but why do you want to upgrade an already fast four core cpu anyway?

And your likewise fast middle class graphics cards--The AMD Radeon HD 6545G2 is the combination of a integrated AMD Radeon HD 6520G APU processor graphics card and a dedicated entry level AMD Radeon HD 6490M graphics card in CrossFire combination--bests the Geforce 320M card. What more do you want?

P.S., and By the way: Nice--And I mean: Really Nice Laptop!
