Faxmodem for HP8-1070UK

I have an HP8-1070UK desktop. I want to put a faxmodem in it. Im not clear on what I need. I think there are slots in the machine for adding this kind of thing.  Is an add in card the same as a PCI card ?. How do I know that I am buying the right faxmodem card for this machine ? Any recommendations what and where to buy ?

Sorry i'm not very technical on this ..... as you can see :-)

Hi:

According to the motherboard specs at the link below for your PC, it has 3 PCIe x1 (PCI Express) slots (the 3 short, black slots).

So, you need to get not a PCI modem, but a PCIe x1 modem.
