I have a dv6tqe with Radeon 7470m 1gb, is it possible I can upgrade the graphics to 2 or 3 GB, or maybe upgrade to a Nvidia Geforce?

Hi,
It's not possible to replace a dedicated graphics chip in a laptop. You have to replace the motherboard with the 1GB chip for a new one with a 2GB chip or with a nVidia chip. Go to your country HP Support and Drivers website: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/siteHome?
and look for a maintenance and service guide for dv6tqe laptops. Then find the right part number and have a look on ebay or HP Spare part store..

No, the only difference between the motherboards is the graphics memory. In case that you will use a motherboard with a nVidia chip, installing nVidia drivers will be necessary but these are available on the same support and drivers website or use the proprietary drivers from nvidia.com..
