HP PAVILION dv6-6b55er light logotype 'HP'

I'm goint to buy that model of HP laptop. Can I disable such an awful logo on the back of display? I realy need that!!!

Unfortunately, the HP logo light cannot be disabled (at least not without a hammer).

Unfortunately there is no way ( key combination etc ) to turn off the exterior HP Logo - the only way this can be done would be to disconnect the power coupling, but I wouldn't recommend dismantling a brand new machine.

I couldn't tell you, as I have never taken any notebook PC apart, other than to add memory, a WLAN card or a hard drive.

I'm not a technician, and do not have access to any wiring diagrams which may trace what wire goes to where.
