HP director is not working

My printer:  hp psc 1310 series all-in-one  S/N CN47KB115X     Q5763A   

 

Problem:  HP director is not working when I single click the icon.

I had uninstalled and reinstall today.

 

operating system: windows XP

 

Please help, every time I want to scan a document to pdf, the only thing that works is HP image zone and only scan as an image.

 

How can I can download a HP director? or any help will be appreciated.

The HP director was not working, I uninstalled the application and install again.

Next, I have downloaded this fix: drv_gc_w01_ENU_NB. 

Now I am able to open the HP director, but when I click one of the icons I get this:

ERROR!

An unexpected internal error has occurred. Click OK to close the program, and then try one

of the following:

-Restart the program

-Restart the PC and then try again

-Reinstall the Photo & Imaging Software and try again. 

 

The issue is when I have a document I would like to convert it to pdf but because I cannot open the HP director, I am able to scan it as an image.

Please help.
