Hi:
Both the product specs page and the service manual say 2 x 4 GB of PC3-10600 memory is supported.
You have either installed PC3-10666 memory which will cause issues, or the memory module you installed is partially defective (which is worse then being completely defective).
Go into your BIOS and run the memory test diagnostic tool.
I would ask to exchange the memory module you bought.
These are the specs for a 4 GB chip that you need:
- Module Size: 4GB
- Package: 204-pin SODIMM
- Feature: DDR3 PC3-10600
- Specs: DDR3 PC3-10600 • CL=9 • Unbuffered • NON-ECC • DDR3-1333 • 1.35V • 512Meg x 64 •

Hi:
Since you didn't specify what product number the kit is, I can't compare it, or look to get feedback on it, but it probably should have worked.
So, you removed the memory that came with your PC, and installed the 2 Corsair chips, correct?
If so, and you still have any of the old HP memory, test the Corsair chips one at a time with the HP memory.
If you got rid of the HP memory, then just test each one of the Corsair chips one at a time.
I think one of the new Corsair chips has a problem.

i removed the memory that came with me PC, and installed the 2 Corsair chips yes.
the product number is "574057" or part nr : CMSO8GX3M2A1333C9.
I am testing the chips one at the time now.
the guy at the electronic store were i bought the chips, said that my laptop hardware dosent support more then 4 gb.I think that is weird.

Hi, Hans:
The computer shopkeeper is wrong.
Just print this link out and show it to him.
It clearly shows under memory, that 8 GB is supported.
Also, that memory should work in your PC.
Here you can get it in the USA at this site. You can read all the reviews. It is pretty good memory. However you can see some reviewers are also getting blue screens.

I prefer Crucial memory to Corsair. But everyone has their own preferences.

I still think one of those chips are bad.
