Maximun Sata Mode G3/Sata600

Hello! I want to upgrade my hard drive from Sata II 300gbs to Sata III 600 and I have a HP DV6 6030eo pn: LF039EA#UUW I have heard different answers from HP sweden One says I can and another says I can't and in Sisoft Sandra I can reed on mainborad that the maximum Sata Mode G3/Sata600 ? can anyone help med pls best regards Stefan with a big ?

The specs for you model don't give a definate answer so it's hard to get the answer you looking for.

 

 

You best bet would be to check out the dv6 Owners Forum over at notebookreviews.com  What you wanting to do kind of falls into the modding realm and if anyone had done this yet they would be talking about it there.

Thanks! Yea it's almost impossible to find a good answer from anywhere, but I think I'll go for a sata II hybrid drive to be shure, I'll  just wait for a later laptop in a couple of years, it might be a standard i all of them :smileyhappy: have a great day...best regards stefan
