Anyone know what wifi module is available and compatible with the dv7 4000 cto?
I am looking for one that will work with the Linksys Cisco E4200 dual band wireless router.
I found this one Intel Ultimate N 633ANHMW IEEE 802.11n (draft) Wi-Fi Adapter - Mini PCI Express - 450Mbps but I have been told that the BIOS will not allow it to work. Someone said a white list is in the BIOS not allowing this Intel adapter to work. If that's true, is there a way to include the Intel adapter in the BIOS.
Thanks in advance

You need to modify the BIOS..

This card works well for me. I haven't got a 450Mbps router yet but the card works well on my home network and also at College. There are 450Mbps routers only so far, no modem router as I need. I have also installed the third antenna but it's not necessary..
