back again from an earlier post and i have bought a new hard drive and threw it into my laptop. i used the recovery disks i had made and it ran all 5 of them perfectly... now this is were im stuck. after its done loading all the discs it says to remove the disc and hit continue and it will reboot and finish installing. so i removed the disc and hit continue and it reboots on its own to a black screen that reads "no bootable device please insert disc and hit any key"... I've tried running the recovery discs three times now and i get the same error every time... what do i do? please help...!

So i may have found the problem and if this is it then hp is full a **bleep**. my laptop came with a 640gb hard drive (7200rpm and 16mb cache). so i bought a 500gb hard drive (7200rpm and 16mb cache).... when i try and do a factory recover it says it is unable to proceed do to the hard drive not being the same size... **bleep**? seriously. how am i suppose to know that i cant buy a a hard drive with a little less space... so im going to return the one i bought and find a 750gb hard drive beacuse i do not want to deal with hp and samsung and there bogus replacements.
