Hello, this is the first time I have posted here on these forums because I haven't had a problem with my HP notebook so far yet for 2 years.
So, I have a HP G62-B27SA notebook with a 2.20GHz AMD Dual core processor, ATI 4250 mobility GPU and 3GB RAM with Windows 7 Home Premium (32-bit) installed. However, I want to upgrade the RAM to 4GB, with a current config of 1x1024MB and 1x2048MB, and I want to change to a config of 2x2048GB.
I took a Samsung RAM module out of the back of the notebook, which was a 2GB RAM module, and the label on it says:
Front:
2GB 1Rx8 PC3-10600S - 09 - 10 - ZZZ
M471B5773CHS - CH9
On the back it has 2 spare part no.:
598856-001
and
C610A0
I believe that I do need something that is DDR3, 1333MHz, and 204-pin - But I need pointing a little more in the right direction, can somebody show me the right product (or an example) that I would need to get to replace the 1GB RAM module? As I don't want to pay around £15 for one then only to find out it doesn't work at all and then find out I might not be able to send it back.
Thanks,
Liam
