A drink was spilled in my DV7-3160US keyboard. Computer still works. Keys are just very sticky. Need to find an actual service manual to take the laptop apart so I can clean up in there.
All of the manuals I have found so far do not fit this bill. They are all simplistic and point to features on the PC and tell you how to change memeory, drives etc, but nothing in depth like taking the PC apart. I know full manuals used to exist as I have used one before to take my previous bosses HP laptop completely apart.
Where did the REAL SERVICE manuals go??
If someone can point me in the right direction, I would certainly appreciate it!!!!
Thanks.
Mark

Hello Mark! If you still need the Maintenance and Service Manual for the dv7-3000 series, you can download it here (PDF). If you need anything else, just let us know!

Thanks,
Just took the keyboard off and washed it in the bath tub with warm soapy water. Rinsed and dried. Reinstalled, works like a charm thanks.
