Replacement Hard Drive warranty?

Hello.   During Christmas 2010, I was gifted a HP G42 notebook computer.  During October 2011, the hard drive failed on me and since my computer was still under warranty.  Today, a little over 7 months later, the hard drive has failed again.  My laptop is out of warranty, but is the hard drive still under warranty?

No, unfortunately not. Replacement parts have a warranty of 90 days or the remainder of the warranty, whichever is longer.
