Scan to OCR

HP Pavilion g6-1113eo notebook pc

HP Photosmart B110a AIO Wireless

Windows 7, 64-bit

How can I get the possibility to have the choice Scan to OCR on this printer. I have had this possibility on the others HP printers that I owned.

hi there, 

 

While not exactly the same as HP's OCR there are a lot of OCR options out there. This link to simple software has a program called SimpleOCR. While it is not very robust as far as features are concerned it does tout that it is 100% free. Throw "scan to OCR" into google and you will come across many software solutions out there. Depending on what you need (speed/accuracy/bells/whistles/licenses) there is most likely a solution out there for you. Here is a really simple way of doing OCR with microsoft word if you already have it. Let us know if it helps.
