I have an EliteBook 8540w with the Quadro FX 880M. I was wondering if it was possible to upgrade this to the FirePro M5800 and, if so, would I need to change my heatsink?
The reason I would like to do this is to be able to run possibly 4 monitors at my desk. I'm also open to other suggestions/solutions to accomplish this.
I'm running Windows 7 32bit on a Core i7 processor but will probably upgrade to x64 when I figure this issue out.
Thanks in advance for your replies.

Yes, it is possible to replace it by the FirePro M5800. You will also need a new heatsink..
