Hi HP Support
Appreciate at least i got a reply, but help me here.
i have a laptop that is not even 2 years old, its my daughters for her studying, but despite many hours of my time trying to get it working i am no further along.
of the 3 adapters listed, only 1 has bluetooth, and without getting into fight, it seems to be a pretty average adapter at best. the 2 other options arent bluetooth, now i could decide to live without this, but i am not particualrly confident that either of these is much better from all the comments?
i am not asking for you to hang yourself in your reply, but from all that you know from experiences, is there nothing more you can do to help me use this laptop, no wifi makes it virtually redundant - does one of these adapters hve a uch better reputation with you or could you unofficially guide on an unofficial solution you know has been successful. i am seriously losing confidence in HP around this situation, i hope you can rebuild my confidence in the brand.
thanks

thanks for nothing HP
happy to take my money and i am left with a laptop less than 2 yrs old and no where to go, put yourself in my shoes, hope you sleep at night.
only satisfaction i can take now is ensuring i tell as many people as possible not to touch HP with a barge pole! scummy company.

hey medazzling...this manual has a whole bunch of adapters listed for your note book sleekbook 15?

apart from the whitelist it seems HP have stuffed up the part numbers in some manuals...they dont match the actual part thry describe....good luck dont even bother trying to call pointless waste of time

Can I add bluetooth to my WLAN? I currently have the Ralink RT5390R 802.11b/g/n 1×1 WiFi Adapter 691415-001, i would like to add this " Ralink RT3290LE 802.11b/g/n 1×1 WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0 Combo Adapter 690020-001" would the bluettooth feature work on my laptop?
