You can buy 2 x 1Gb of RAM for your machine. Old RAM is very expensive now.

Max memory is DDR-PC2700 2 x 1 GB.

You could also run DDR-PC3200 but I am not sure if the memory will run at 400 MHz or 333 MHz.

If the PC3200 memory is the same price as the PC2700, you would have nothing to lose by getting it.

I like the crucial memory scanner tool. I recommend you run it and see what it reports.
