I have a HP Touchsmart TM2T-2100 CTO laptop decked out with 8 gigs of ram, Intel Wifi-link 1000, 500 gig hard drive, ati switchable graphics, bluetooth etc.... When I purchased the laptop I thought the wireless was ABGN wireless adaptor I was wrong. I would like to know what wireless adaptors are compatible with the TM2T-2100 CTO laptop that supports ABGN (2.4ghz and 5.0ghz frequencies) without any modifications.

Hi:
Below is the link to the service manual for your PC.

When I look at the list of supported WLAN adapters, I note that none are dual band capable.

Hi:
If you want a dual band wireless adapter, you will need to get an external USB one.
No other wireless adapters other than the ones listed in the service manual, will work.
