Ok, so my battery does not hold a charge.  It over heats all the time and yet HP still tells me its not on the replacement list.

What gives.  Approve me and Just send me a battery.

This has gotten ridiculous.  I guess HP doesn't want my return business.

I support companies that support me.

That's all I'm saying.

Eventually laptop batteries fail, they have a lifespan and when they are done they will not charge and will heat up when you try to charge them, its time to replace it.

 

HP only replaced certain batteries due to a manufacturing defect, not because they don't charge and heat up due to age.

 

How old is your battery?
