Hi,

You asked same question before:

   http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Hardware-Upgrades-Replacements/can-i-add-more-ram/m-p/2536983

I live in a different country and the following price is for the USA:

   http://www.crucial.com/upgrade/HP+-+Compaq-memory/HP+G6xx+Series/HP+G62-107SA-upgrades.html

I can order from there and must pay for postage & handling.

Regards.

Hello @thanasis,

Firsty, I would like to know your laptops HP product number (Ex: WB133AU#ABA). You can find it under the laptop or inside the battery compartment sometimes. Or you can make use of this link - Here!!!

The reason i'm asking for the Hp product number is G62 series has many laptops and all the laptop does not have the same memory specs. Hence, it is always better to go with the Product number to determine the exact model number. (Also I do not think the crucial link posted in post #2 is for the exact model, it can be correct or may be not - no offense).

I do not know about the prices in Europe, generally in US - the prices are between  $20 - $25 for 2GB and $30 - $40 for 4GB modules, maybe you can find it cheaper than this, this is acc to my estimate. Anyways, the best thing would be to buy from an online vendor and ship to Greece. (like crucial, memorystock, newegg and many more sites). But do your own research before purchasing.

Best Regards,
John

Hello again,

Thanks for the reply.

Yes, you can add more memory.

Max is 4GB, which means you can add another 2GB to the remaining slot.

You can search for this memory in crucial, memorystock, Kingston.

"2GB DDR3 1066 (PC3-8500) CL7 SODIMM 204-Pin" memory.

Best Regards,
John
