It is possible the new hard drive you got is defective?
Did you run the HDD diagnostics program in the BIOS doagnostics menu?
If not, I recommend you run that, and see what it reports.

Bios Ver. F25 does not show HD info. (never seen Bios like this before) I'm unable to boot from DVD or USB although boot order have been made to the Bios. Just gives me blank screen upon boot.

Well, unfortunately at this point, your issue has gone beyond my ablilty to troubleshoot.
If you purchased an advanced format hard drive, that is most likely the issue.
If not, then I don't know what it is.

OEM HD. Typically I'm able to format the drive via software from a USB key or DVD/CD drive and go from there. Unfortunately the Bios is not co-operating. Tried old drive but it's dead. Tried no drive also to no avail.
