i have purchased hp pavilion dv6 7040tx recently and a few days back my subwofer stopped working. i have installed new drivers but it still doesnt help, so i removed the hdd lid and i have found that the woofer socket is broken.
I dont know what to do now. can it be replaced under accidental damage protection?

Please contact HP support.
Please visit http://www.hp.com/ > select the country from left hand side bottom (USA is selected by default) > on next page, on right hand side top, click "connect with HP" icon, you should have options to email HP or call HP.
