Re: i have a laptop pc i need to upgrade the ram for hp 2000-227CL Notebook PC

Hi,
The laptop supports up to 8GB of DDR3 RAM at 1333Mhz.
I recommend Corsair memory modules:
http://www.amazon.com/Corsair-1333mhz-PC3-10666-204-pin-CMSO8GX3M2A1333C9/dp/B002YUF8ZG
but Crucial, Samsung or Kingston are also good products..
How to is here: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c02753308.pdf
Dv6-7000 /Full HD/Core i5-3360M/GF 650M/Corsair 8GB/Intel 7260AC/Samsung Pro 256GB
HP Touchpad provided by HP
Currently on Debian Wheeze

Hi,

Your notebook supports a maximum 8Gb of Ram ( 2 x 4Gb Modules ).  A suitable upgrade can be found Here.
