i currently have a hp pavilion g7 notebook with a pentium processor that is running off of windows seven. i recently started playing PC games and i now desire to upgrade my laptop so that the games run faster and a bit smoother. i was hoping that upgrading my processor might allow me to do that but i am not entirely sure. i figured that my video card which is a intel (R) HD graphics family was sufficient for what i wanted to do. okay so to generalize i was hoping to see if anyone could tell me a processor that would be compatible or simply how i could run games more smoothly

Hi,
G7 is a series of dozens models, what is yours ? Anyway, the following book shows you supported CPU's from day 1. Normally games run better with more powerful GPU and you can not upgrade GPU for your laptop.

im not sure of the version but i think it is an insydeH20 version 03.61.01f.63. and im not sure if it makes a difernce but when i run games it uses up almost 100 % of my processing power so i figured that would sovle the problem
