Hi Johnny,
You can make your own Recovery Discs for your computer...
Check out the First Section in this document to see how to make your own Recovery Discs:
Recover Windows 7 Operating System Using HP Recovery
The HP Help Document on Ordering Recovery Discs:
Order Recovery Discs for Windows 7, Vista, or XP
If they are available, you can
Order Recovery Media for your Computer from your website:
- Go to the top of the HP forum page to Support and Drivers
- Enter your Computer Model information, and then go to Software and Drivers...
- Enter your Operating System in the Drop-down menu... Click NEXT
- Scroll down on the page
- Look for category Order Recovery Media
- Selec.
- Enter the appropriate information.
If you do not find the package when you click on it,
OR
If the package category is missing entirely,
THEN...
If the computer is NEW (or relatively new)...
THEN >>> CALL HP – there are a number of missing links! It is worth the call!!
If the computer is older and HP no longer provides the Recovery discs,
THEN >>> Check Computer Surgeons HP Recovery Center - Search
