replacement of scanner lamp Scanjet 3c

I still use an old HP scanner, Scanjet 3c, for black and white scans. It has done 50K scans. It is slowing down, and I think it has to do with warming up the lamp. If so, is it possible to replace the lamp affordably? Is the purchase web based, or local. My city is Montreal. I will be in the market for a new scanner for photos, slides, films, soon.
