6500A Plus, Black only printing (not copying)

6500a plus printer. i can copy in "black" only using the setting for black on the computer control panel. When printing from personal files or internet, I can't find the "black" selection under print options. Suggestions? Workaround?

  • Try cleaning the printhead
  • If that doesnot work Remove and reinstall the cartridge ELSE
  • ELSE:
  • Unplug the power cord from the product, and wait 20 seconds
  • Press and hold # and 3 while plugging in the power cord to the product.
  • Release the buttons after the product starts up. The product will now be reset to factory defaults.
