Black is not working.. Help

I have replace the cartridge, cleaned the heads 4times already, aligned the cartidges, and ran several tests. I have also checked the ventiliation thingys and nothing.

Please read this post then provide some details.  What printer model?  Are there any error messages on the printer or computer screen?

Its an HP 6510. The only error I get now is that the alignment failed.

The alignment will fail if black is not printing properly.  I would suggest the troubleshooting steps in this document.

 

 

Is your printer still in warranty? You can check with HP's warranty tool here.

I will ask to have one of the HP support agents look in on this thread, there may be further things they can suggest.  Are you in the US?
