Calibrate Linefeed not working showing "white gaps"

operating an HP officejet pro L7680 All-in-one printer on my desktop running XP

after having printing gaps in my documents.

 

I have run the "Print PQ (Page quality) Diagnostic page" feature and it describes my problem to be to "Calibrate Linefeed". So, I run the program to calibrate linefeed and I did that, including every other quality alignment after that, because this did not fix the problem and this has not fixed the printing gaps of white on my documents printed. The white gaps are significant in size, almost a 1/4 inch. I have repeated the suggested progress twice.

 

There have been no recent changes that I am aware of, this started in the middle of a 20 page printing job.
