I am using a HP Photosmart C4750 All-in-One Printer. I'd like to check my ink levels instead of guessing when they need changed.
Is there a way to set up a warning notice that the levels are low? This doesn't seem to happen automatically like other HP's I've used.
I did try to check the levels manually. I double clicked on the icon for the HP Digital Imaging Monitor on the taskbar. The HP Solution Center would not open. I received a very polite error message - "No HP devices have been detected. HP Solution Center will close now". My only option was to click on OK or click on X to cancel. This is my first time using a wireless printer. Am I getting this error because of that?? How can it not be detecting the printer? I've been using it all morning.
Any assistance you could offer would be greatly appreciated.

Uninstall the current printer drivers from control panel and Please download the lastest software from www.support.hp.com and reinstall. This should help.
Although I am an HP employee, I am speaking all this from my own experience and not for HP.
