Chronic printhead clog

I have a K5400 with two trays, no duplexer.  The magenta head prints with light streaks.  Cleaning the head cures the problem but the next day it recurs.  I have changed the ink cartridge once and the printhead twice.  Ink and printheads are all genuine HP 88s.

Re: Chronic printhead clog

Try with different paper if its not resolved
as the printhead and the cartridges have been replaced already. Call HP Technical Support and get the printer replaced.

Re: Chronic printhead clog

Samierus,

I did not appreciate your answer at first.  I replaced the paper and nothing changed.  I kept the new paper in for about a week and the problem improved and then went away.  Thank you.
