I've had my all-in-one for a few years (about 3) and about 6 months ago anything I would print out would have the horizontal streaks in it. So, I did the "clean printhead" option in the "tools" setting and then the "align paper" option. But when I printed again, the streaks were still there.
Now I've bought new ink cartridges, I've cleaned the printhead and aligned the paper several times over the course of these past 6 months and the streaks are still there! I'm a college student who has professors that send us their powerpoints for us to print out and I'd much rather print from home than have to go early to school, find parking, find an open computer, and diminish the paper quota we have at my school :s
I've also done the semi-full reset on the printer too. I know that on this all-in-one the printhead isn't user replaceable. But is there anyway to clean the printhead manually or something? Or do I have to buy a new printer, because as I said before, I'm a college student with very little money to buy a new one, especially when I got this one as a Christmas gift. Also, I no longer have the warranty ![]()
I'll take any little bit of advice!
Thank You!!
