After about three months use the print is blurred and the retailer suggests that I clean the print head.  How do I do this? HP do not supply a user manual, nor is there any clue on the top of the printer.

Hello 2291, and welcome to the HP Forums, I hope you enjoy your experience!

 

I see you are experiencing blurred print quality.  I would like to help.


I would recommend removing the ink cartridges, and performing a power reset on the printer.  Disconnect the power cord from the printer and the power outlet, then wait 60 seconds. After 60 seconds, plug the printer back in. Ensure you plug the printer directly to a wall outlet. Make sure to bypass any sort of surge protector or power bar.

 

I would also suggest following the steps in this document on Fixing Ink Streaks, Faded Prints, and Other Common Print Quality Problems.

I tried the hard reset and my copies still look like a two wheeled vehicle has rolled over them -  any ideas of how I fix this?
