Cyan cartridge from Photo Value Pack empty after only 1 print job on my C5180

So the cyan cartridge in my C5180 had been empty for a while (maybe 3 months?) when I decided to go out and finally buy new ink. I ended up buying the Photo Value Pack and installing only the cyan cartridge, saving the others for later. I was a bit concerned about the fine print on the packaging naming the cartridges "Custom 02 Cartridges," but the people at Office Depot insisted that only the black cartridge was smaller than the standard size. Well, after the printer went through its "preparing" cycle and I printed out 1 text-only page, the cyan cartridge was already empty!

 

Now I have to go out and spend even more money on ink, but you better believe I won't be buying the Photo"Value" Pack again, as it's a total rip off.
