F4488 Blank ink doesn't print

Hi,

 

Black ink doesn't print. Plain papers come out of the printer. When I print a color page, the colored areas prints fine. The ink level in the black cartridge is fine. But doesn't print at all.

 

I tried everything from cleaning the cartridge to re-installing the drivers and restarting the system.

 

Can somebody please let me know how to resolve this issue.

Does the black print at all on the Self Test? Have you tried running the clean cartridge utility?

Hi Ciara_B,

 

Black ink does not print at all on the Self Test. I have run the clean cartridge utility and then tried to print a page. But no use.
