1. HP PSC 1210 all in one printer
2. Operating system: WIndows 7, 32-bit
3. Error: faded text when printing
4. I have just changed from Operating System WIndows XP to WIndows 7
The computer has installed the standard driver for the printer, and everything seems to be working as it should, except the fact that the printed text is really bad. The printer had not been used for about two years, so I think the printer needs to do the automatic cleaning programme. However the interface that came with the standard driver for Windows 7 does not have the option to start such a cleaning process.
I am thinking that the printer might have a combination of keys that you can press in order to start the cleaning process?
Or there might be an alternative driver that I should download?
I have already tryed taking out the ink cartridges and cleaning them manually, that did not work. They are not empty neither.
Please help
Thanks!
Best regards Soeren
