HP Deskjet 3050A printer

Error message "Incompatible Black Cartridge" has appeared and my printer will not work.   I've had the printer for a month and it has worked fine.  How do I fix this problem?

I CHANGE THE ORIGINAL HP 122 CARTRIGE  IN MY DESKJET 3050a WITH A ORIGINAL HP 61 XL CARTRIGE

AND IT DOESNOT WORK AN ERROR MESS. FOR INCOMPATIBLE CARTRIGE IS SHOWN  AND I WENT TRU THE CLEANING  AND DISCONECTING PROCCES  AND IT STILL MOT WORK     WATH IS THE NEXT STEP????

I noticed you mentioned HP 122 Cartridge which is for the Deskjet 1050, Deskjet 2050, and Deskjet 2050s. Are you certain you are using the Deskjet 3050A? Putting a HP 61 XL cartridge in the wrong printer could be producing this message. The following article will help determine your model number.

IM SURE ....THE MODES IS 3050 J610a AND THE HP122 ARE THE ORIGINAL CARTRIGES THAT CAME IN THE BOX ANS ARE SHOWN ON THE COVER LID.

From what I was able to look up it seems that the HP 122 and HP 61 cartridges are used in the same printers, the main differences being that they are from different regions. Have you recently moved to a new region/country? If so you should be able to contact HP support for a free Region Reset of the printer this should allow you use HP 61 with your printer.

I am using a remanufactured cartridge and it keeps saying that black cartridge incompatible.  This is the second time I have used a remanufactured cartridge and this time it does not work.  I have cleaned everything and made sure strip was removed.  Is there anything I can do to fix problem?
